Our special Anzac treats!
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups quick oats
1 1/4 cups plain flour, sifted
1 teaspoon bicarb soda
1/2 cup caster sugar
150g dried figs, chopped
70g walnuts, crushed
200g unsalted butter, melted
3 tablespoons honey
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 170°c. In a large bowl place the oats, flour, bicarb soda, caster sugar, dried figs and walnuts and stir to combine.

In a small saucepan over low heat. melt the butter and honey.

Pour the melted butter into the dry ingredients and mix together until fully combined.

Roll out tablespoonfuls of mixture and roll into balls, place on baking tray lined with baking paper. Make sure to press down on the of the biscuits flatten slightly.

Bake the Anzac biscuits for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
